Terms of service

These terms describe how the application actually behaves. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer; that review is outstanding and is the operator’s responsibility before public release.
Using the app
You need an account, you must give accurate details, and you are responsible for what happens under your login. One account is for one person.
What is available today
The course currently opens Pre-A1 and A1. A2 and B1 are written but are held behind a gate until they have been reviewed by native speakers, and the app shows them as coming soon. Nothing here promises a delivery date for them.
What the app does not claim
- It is not an accredited qualification. Level exams inside the app estimate your level against the CEFR descriptors. They are not a certificate, and no institution is obliged to accept them.
- Pronunciation feedback compares words, not sound.The engine scores what your device’s speech recogniser heard against the target phrase. It can tell you a word was missed, added or misrecognised. It does not analyse your accent, stress, rhythm or intonation, and a good score does not mean a native speaker would find you easy to understand.
- AI answers can be wrong. The tutor and conversation partner are language models. Treat their corrections as practice, not as authority.
Voices
All speech in the app is AI-generated, labelled as such, and does not imitate a real person.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are sold through the App Store and Google Play. The price shown at checkout by the store is the price you pay. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and cancellation and refunds are handled by the store under its own rules, not by us. Losing a paid plan does not delete work you already did: exams you have already sat remain in your history.
Fair use
AI features have per-plan limits, shown in the app. Automated scraping, sharing an account, or attempting to extract answer keys or bypass level gating are not permitted.
Your content
What you write and say stays yours. You allow us to process it to run the features you asked for — grading, corrections, conversation and speech.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the account screen, which deletes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that abuses the service.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. It is a learning tool, and no outcome — a score, a level, or success in any real exam — is guaranteed.
Changes
Material changes will be shown in the app before they take effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
